We’re happy to announce that Sumo Group has won two prestigious accolades at the 2023 TIGA Games Industry Awards.
Sumo Group scooped the Talent Development award, given to a games company that contributes to the future supply of good quality personnel available to work in the games industry – as well as being nominated for the Commitment to Workplace Wellbeing Award, Commitment to ESG Award, and Employer of the Year 2023 – while Sumo Digital triumphed in the Best Large Studio award category, which recognises studios that develop great games and has a track record of commercial and critical success.
The Sumo Digital Academy’s Zool: Redimensioned was nominated for both the Best Arcade Game Award and Heritage in Games Award, while Red Kite Games Studio Director and founder Simon Iwaniszak was a finalist for the Outstanding Leadership Award. Secret Mode, Sumo Group’s publishing division, was also nominated for the Publisher Award.
It’s been a fantastic year for Sumo Group on the awards front, with Sumo Digital having already scooped the Best Creative/Co-Development Partner at the MCV/DEVELOP Awards 2023, with numerous accolades for our family of studios, including wins at the GI.biz Best Places to Work Awards, Develop:Star Awards, and MCV/DEVELOP 30 under 30 2023 Awards.
