Sumo Group today released its Autumn ESG Impact Report outlining its commitments and progress to-date around its environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives across the Group.
This year’s ESG highlights include the formation of the ESG Committee to lead and deliver an overarching ESG strategy across the Group, the completion of the 2023 Flotilla Carbon Accounting Report which provided essential information to help the Group define its journey to net zero, and the successful ongoing partnerships that help open pathways and raise awareness of games as a viable career choice for underrepresented groups.
In addition, the report demonstrates how Sumo continues to support the wider games industry through learning and development with the Sumo Digital Academy’s apprenticeships and a new career development programme, Sumo Group Evolve, for people wanting to move into senior development roles and based on its successful internal course.
The report also contains updates on Inclusion and Belonging activities and the Group’s charitable work giving something back to the causes that matter to its people, clients and partners.
