Sumo Group is delighted to announce that we received two awards at the Ukie Video Game Awards in Birmingham, UK.
Our publishing division Secret Mode won Best UK Publisher, while Sumo Digital was the winner of the Best UK Developer award.
In addition, Sumo Group received nominations for the Sustainability Champion and Diversity & Inclusion Champion awards, respectively. Sumo Nottingham’s The Texas Chain Saw Massacre was a finalist in the Best UK Console Game category, while Auroch Digital’s Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun was a nominee for Best UK PC Game.
The awards, held at the Birmingham Rep on 7th March 2024, honoured UK games companies and individuals and their outstanding contribution, creative and commercial, to the UK games industry in 2023.
